Where did the term God originate from. Then a spiritual friend said it just is an acronym for
Generator : One who generates
Ordinator : The one Who ordinates
Destroyer : The one who destroys.
Being born in hindu family I was exposed to hindu ritualism and culture.
In the hindu religion there is paradigm that is followed....the triad Brahma, Vishnu (Narayan), Maheshwar (Shiva) have been given all the above duties respectively.
Brahma verily looked upon or designated as the creator.
Vishnu or Narayan as the Ordinator who was is looked upon to balance the demeanour of nature and the living or non-living things on it.
Shiva as the destroyer who has to looked upon to decide the cessation of life form.
Interesting observation...justified....but not convincing. The mythology that defined the life style of these so called Gods does not giving convincing evidence of them being the supreme power.
A power so much beyond comprehensions...a power beyond the gamut of anger, jealousy,hatred, love, attachment....a power called the paramatma broken up as param (first) atama (soul).
This param atma is the supreme power.... the power that can never be defined, designed, understood or ever be penned.
The power that can be simply understood only by one word..."SILENCE"
