Aamir in Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Shoes....Result of Human Psycho-Metamorphism

What is Human Psycho-Metamorphism...And what the hell has Metamorphism to do with Aamir Khan or Nawazuddin Siddiqui?...OOPS...sorry...maybe there is no word called Human Psycho-Metamorphism but there is surely a word called Metamorphism.

Metamorphism is the change of minerals or geologic texture (distinct arrangement of minerals) in pre-existing rocks (protoliths), without the protolith melting into liquid magma (a solid-state change). The change occurs primarily due to heat, pressure, and the introduction of chemically active fluids.

Funny...isnt it...even rocks change under pressure...And so do thus, us humans...the only difference...Rocks affect themselves...and we as humans search for "scape goats or bakras"...And in India, today the biggest "Bakra" is Aamir Khan.

Of late there have been tweets, retweets, facebook status, and every other social media on a degenerated topic called "Tolerance".

There is a classic scene from the hindi film  #Munnabhai M.B.B.S picturized on Sunil Dutt, Rohini Hattangadi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and a few junior actors.

The scene has a Nawazuddin Siddiqui stealing Shri Sunil Dutt's purse on the railway station when he comes to meet his son, Shri Sunil Duttji comes to him when the people catch him and and says " Yeh Public hain..Koi apne Boss se pareshaan  hain, koi apne Landlord se toh Koi apni biwi se....yeh sab apna gussa tujh par nikaalenge"...

Incidentally the whole scene reminds me of the look on Nawazuddin Siddiqui's face and I can imagine the same reaction on Aamir Khan's face...only this time Aamir may have done the most stupid thing ( as per many intellectuals out there)...that of expressing genuine concern of his wife, also the mother of his child,a responsible citizen of India, has made....It may have just been to "voice the reflection that most women in this country" must be feeling...
I know a lot of them personally who still worry about their daughters being in out there amongst the wolves....and their sons who may have a friend as a Muslim, where in they may not fear that the friend may be involved in terrorist activities, but will have the fear that " What if my son is caught eating "BEEF" with the muslim friend...his life will be in danger"....Today the fear wont be of a Muslim but a "Beef eating Muslim".

The reaction towards Aamir Khan is nothing but this Human Psycho-Metamorphism

The mounting pressure of inflation, the mounting pressures of competition, the mounting pressures of daily sustenance had brought about this Human Psycho-Metamorphism

As a matter of fact these every people who are criticising Aamir for his statement may have some time or the other made this statement maybe indirectly.."India main kuch rakha nahi..chalo Dubai Chaltay hain..Chalo Australia migrate Hotay hain..Chalo Canada migrate hotay hain". Its about situations..not about the country. Its about survival not about hating the country.

Everyone wants a better life...so why the hullaboo if someone wishes for it.

I really pity Aamir...his situation is similar to that of which Nawauddin would have faced in the film if Sunil Dutt decided to do it or the script writer decided to do it.

This hulla boo reminds me of a song rendered by Kishore Kumar in a film called "Roti" picturized on Rajesh Khanna based on a saying from the bible ..." Yaar hamari baat suno ..aisa ek insaan suno...jissnay paap na kiya hon..joh paapi na hon..." ...the song continued and had the wordings thus.." Iss paapan ko aaj milkar maarenge hum saarey...lekin joh paapi na hon woh pehla paththar maarein"...Our country has got a weakness....

Screw a celebrity and become a celebrity ( And Incidentally everyone is doing so)....We have more serious problems like hunger and unemployment...growing problems thats detrimental for the future generation...and here we are...haathi chodd doh...aur pooch ko pakkad kar baithon....every bloody social media which is supposed to be just a passtime is replete with statements of the so called superstar called Aamir Khan..

Aamir Khan may not have contributed to the economy of the country but his films certainly has.....Aamir Khan may not have contributed to the financial state of people but his films have contributed to the mental state of people....how then do u attribute the success of his films....You have made him the superstar...the great actor....so why dont we all just forget his dialogue as a general statement....one that every politician in India without an exception makes regularly.....easy to screw someone...difficult to ask ourselves....Isnt there ever a time where we have not done the same thing out of frustration sometime or the other....when will we all the stop "the holier than thou attitude"......finally only one thing....Newton discovered gravity and gave it the name gravitational force ...we all accepted it as there was no option or choice...unfortunately no one could discover god in the undebating theory or pthesis...so each one has his own belief...so lets wait till some Isaac Newton comes someday to show us that there is but "one god"...who has created this biggest blunder called "Humans" who have created another blunder called "Religion".....what I say here is of no consequence...no one will bother to say anything or feel bad...as I am a nobody...but if I had been a celebrity I would have been royally SCREWED....god bless you all....No offence meant to anyone but just carry on with your lives.

Nirvana...is about letting go of the rope.

My previous blog about "What is Selfishness...and was Buddha Selfish?" gave me quite a few positive responses.

It came from various sources from friends, relatives, my Spiritual Gurus etc.

The ultimate point is selfishness starts where the world ends for us. Selfishness is about being self centred.

Buddha's journey was not to achieve for the self, but was to achieve something that will help others.

Buddha became the buddha because he did not think like a prince...he thought like a king who is concerned about his subjects.

Making money, taking care of family, doing charity are all but the temporary accomplishments that gives us a sense of happiness and contentment.

Buddha searched for a permanent solution...that of eternal bliss. He had the patience to know that he could do nothing without understanding the problem and his attaining Nirvana made him realize that the ongoings were but a part of the cosmic cycle and the sufferings of mankind stems out of the karmic cycle..

After he attained Nirvana, it would have been easier for him to merge into oblivion and be in his own trip of the eternal bliss, if he had been selfish...but it was his selflessness that brought him out into the world again, but this time unaffected, untouched by the sufferings that he felt had been brought upon the sufferer by himself.

His goal was not to change the world but to bring forth the experience that he had, and to tell the world that even they could achieve what he had...even they can get what he has....and that his achievement of Nirvana was a proof to the fact that  " Ask...and you shall receive".

We all want to attain nirvana but not ready to let go of the rope that holds us to others and the hope that holds others to us.

NIrvana...is about letting go of the rope!

What is selfishness and "Was The Buddha Selfish?"

My friend asked.."What is selfishness?".

The question raised numerous doubts in my mind. I did a search on the internet ( funny isnt it...some may find it stupid). But the internet did reply back to me in the below given format...

selfishness
ˈsɛlfɪʃnəs/
noun
  1. the quality or state of being selfish; lack of consideration for other people.
    "an act of pure selfishness"

I asked myself who is selfish and who is selfless?.Some may say "The Buddha was Selfless".

My debate with the english dictionary that defines "selfish"..."Was the Buddha Selfish?" ( as per definition given by any dictionary).

Buddha Shakyamuni was born as a royal prince and named Siddartha in a place called Lumbini, in what is now Nepal. His mother’s name was Queen Mayadevi and his father’s name was King Shuddhodana.
Prince Siddartha showed his excellence in what he was supposed to do as a prince...mastery in scriptures, mastery in martial arts....everything that he wanted his father wanted him to do. Siddartha got married to Yashodara...at the behest of his father and his subjects.

Siddartha wanted to seek...But no one wanted to let him go....but he left.

He left, because he wanted to seek and had to think selfishly ( as defined by the internet....lack of consideration for people..) . In this case lack of consideration for his father, his mother, his subjects...least of all for his wife.

The question now is "Was Buddha Selfish?".

It took me back to a whatsapp message that one friend had sent to me.

The story about Buddha returning back to his wife and his wife giving him a cold shoulder....

So I guess the woman's liberation front will say " Buddha was selfish. He had lack of consideration for his wife...He was selfish".

And the men's liberation front and some people from the old school of thought may say " If Siddartha left, it shows how incapable the woman was. If she was strong enough she could have stopped him...So it was not the Buddha's selfishness but the woman's incapability".

Some people who simulate the all knowing spirituality may say " Siddartha was an incarnation of god. His mother had already got the signs of him being a supernatural being and his father got the prediction from his royal astrologer that his son, the prince siddartha was destined to become a Buddha".

Now it can be

"The Buddha was a selfless being who wanted to seek the truth and find a solution for all the sufferings."

Or it can be

"Was The Buddha, a selfless being who wanted to seek the truth and find a solution for all the sufferings?."

So the million dollar question..."Did Buddha find an answer to all the sufferings...If he did why was he not able to bring about a permanent change in the world?".

If he did bring about change and brought the change only amongst the people whom he met then again " Was the Buddha selfish?". Since again as per the internet selfishness is defined as lack of consideration for people and Consideration only for a few people can also be considered as lack of consideration.

So incidentally The Buddha, had consideration, for  only a handful of people whom he came in touch with...people whom he could meet or reach out to directly or indirectly and then spread his message to them .

Isn't it then?...debatable...that even with his new found spiritual powers and the extra ordinary capabilities, that he exhibits in his life story,he could limit only his knowledge to be spread amongst only a few people and not to every individual in this world.

So did the Buddha leave his parents (who nurtured and brought him up) and his wife (who left her parents and had to live like a widow for the rest of her life) just so that he could spread the message of love and humility to a handful of people with whom he came in touch with, and the teachings to be forgotten in time.

And moreover he could only spread the good thoughts...None of his disciples or followers attained "Nirvana"...So it takes us back again to the same question "Was The Buddha Selfish?"...coz he never could give anyone else the experience what he experienced in terms of Nirvana....

So was the buddha selfish?. He attained Nirvana....but only "He" attained Nirvana....
Where does his father, mother, wife figure in this entire equation?

Again the point of debate by our self proclaimed spirituals masters, advocates of spirituality can be ... "Nirvana cannot be attained by everyone..you have to work towards it..."
So Nirvana is about our own self...our own destination...

Which indirectly means "Each one to his own....funny isn't it? "

So was the buddha selfish?.

If the buddha wasn't selfish...then what is meaning of selfish...what is meaning of selfless...

I can be the buddha...If I want to, I can attain Nirvana , ..."I seek the destination that is me"...but then can I seek the destination "me" without being selfish...And I say now that before I can become the buddha...I have to become  selfish.

I the seeker...me the destination

Learning something new is always welcome. I had a chance to learn something new. A seeker of spirituality, like many others I know....it has always been unstilted.

I always felt the need to say...to listen...as I said I learnt, as I learnt I listened, as I listened I still learnt...and the search still continues.

I spoke to someone very dear to me....I listened...and then I felt...Its what I am seeking ends with me.

Its what I want that drives to the destination that defines me.

I want...I think..I feel..I love...I hate...I need....I am attached...I want to be dis-attached...I want to achieve....but Do I really try it...do I really work towards it...I give excuses ...in the name of responsibilities...In the name of committments...In the name of my weakness.

I dont define my strength...I dont define my goal....I still will be the seeker....until I have the strong desire towards fulfillments.... towards the destination..."ME"

Our Decision...Our Identity...Our Life

"Beyond ourselves, we all are deeply driven by our sense of identity, of who we are..what our identity is. We are in the midst of a world, where the central importance becomes our own self. We should care for our own self ..love our self…only then can we love others"

I smile...when I  smile,
I laugh...when I laugh,
I cry...when I  cry,
I think..when I think,
I pray...when I pray,
I love...when I love,
I dont love...when I dont love...I dont hate,
I am, what I am...when I am,
I live...when I live,
I breathe...when I breathe,
I guide...when I am guided,
My Decision...My Identity...My life...

You can follow what you believe in...Let me follow what I believe in...
You can judge what you percieve...let me be my own judge
You can follow a religion...Let me follow my god,
You can decide what is right or what is wrong...Let me decide what is right,
I tread on my life's path with the vision that I live for...

For what I wrong I do...as per you...I may face hell...if that be my fate...
For what right you think...as per you...its your decision...your identity...your life....

Let me have my decisions...my identity...my life....my death...my life after that....

What is God...Who is God...Where is God..Meditate to find him

A question asked ...specially when we are frustrated with ourselves and very rarely when we are unexpectedly happy about something.

God can be in any form...In form of a plant, animal or tree.

God can be the one who comes to our aid in times of need.

God can be the one who we thank after we are aided in times of our need....

God can be the one who is present in times of our need.

Justifications are many for his existence and non-existence. There are believers and there non-believers but each one finally admits to the power of the unseen, unknown, mis-interpreted, mysterious identity.

I pray to him by communicating with him...I know my voice reaches him even in my silence. He responds to me in his silence.

He smiles at me through my mother, my father, my sisters, my brothers and my friends...

He shows his presence in my trust, my belief, my faith in him....when he carries me across on his shoulders through a calamity and once he has safely ferried me across he expects me to know that he has carried across....not because he wants me to be obliged to him...but for me to trust him and believe that he will always carry me.

He shows his helplessness through my ego, my hatred, my anger, my frustrations....seemingly saying in his silence..." What do you expect me to do ...you dont even trust me...you are being judgemental about the sequence in your life to be of no consequence to me..."

He expresses his love to me through the very breath I live in...through the very heart beat that I experience.

Science and Human Evolution

Human ego is the most powerful tool to create confusion between fact and fiction, story and history.

This ego allows man to convince himself and others to make fiction out of a fact and create a debate to prove fact to be fiction.

The world is divided into many kinds of people but categorically defined as Atheists and Religious.

Atheists define the evolution of man scientifically and the Religious define evolution the way they have been taught for generations.

Each religion follows and believes what they have been taught and told over the times. Each wanting to prove the other wrong because of nothing but the "ego" that does not allow the self to be any more inferior than anyone.

The fact remains that the entire Universe undoubtedly has to be the brainchild of one master mind. That single power that has systematically and strategically created each and every living and non-living being ( man, animal or plants). But the entire world is divided by thoughts that have been passed on to them through the ages.

There should not be any arguments but only debates about the evolution of mankind.

A very ironical coincidence between Darwin's theory of evolution and A story in the hindu mythology about the 10 re-incarnations of the Hindu Deity Vishnu.

Darwin was considered to be an atheist and Vishnu one of the triads as mentioned in my previous blog. They could never have met...but somehow the theory of Darwin goes into sync with Vishnu's Dashavatara ( Ten Incarnations)

Darwin said Life started as follows :

1) In water ( Aquatic)...these aquatic animals evolved as
2) Amphibians ( Living on Land as well as water) then they evolved as
3) Terrestrial (Only Land) then came the
4) Ape Man ( Half man-Half Beast) and finally came
5) Man

Vishnu's Dashavatar has been potrayed as follows

1) Matsyaavatar ( The Fish ) -Aquatic
2) Koormaavatar ( The Tortoise) - Amphibian
3) Varahaavatar ( The Wild Boar)- Terrestrial
4) Narasimhavatar( The Half Man-Half Lion)- Similar to Apemen who were considered to be half man -half beast
5) Vamanavatar ( The brahmin child)
6) Parasuram Avatar ( The brahmin who lived like a kshatriya-warrior)
7) Ram Avatar ( The Kshatriya who lived like a brahmin)
8) Krishna Avatar ( The Kshatriya who lived like a common man and remained a brahmin on the battlefield of Kurukshetra)
9) Buddha Avatar ( The man in search of peace and tranquility)
10) Kalki Avatar ( Depicted as someone who will put an end to this world)

There can be a very vague parallel relation dfined between Darwin's theory of evolutuon and the mythology of Vishnu Purana.
