Metamorphism is the change of minerals or geologic texture (distinct arrangement of minerals) in pre-existing rocks (protoliths), without the protolith melting into liquid magma (a solid-state change). The change occurs primarily due to heat, pressure, and the introduction of chemically active fluids.
Funny...isnt it...even rocks change under pressure...And so do thus, us humans...the only difference...Rocks affect themselves...and we as humans search for "scape goats or bakras"...And in India, today the biggest "Bakra" is Aamir Khan.
Of late there have been tweets, retweets, facebook status, and every other social media on a degenerated topic called "Tolerance".
There is a classic scene from the hindi film #Munnabhai M.B.B.S picturized on Sunil Dutt, Rohini Hattangadi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and a few junior actors.
The scene has a Nawazuddin Siddiqui stealing Shri Sunil Dutt's purse on the railway station when he comes to meet his son, Shri Sunil Duttji comes to him when the people catch him and and says " Yeh Public hain..Koi apne Boss se pareshaan hain, koi apne Landlord se toh Koi apni biwi se....yeh sab apna gussa tujh par nikaalenge"...
Incidentally the whole scene reminds me of the look on Nawazuddin Siddiqui's face and I can imagine the same reaction on Aamir Khan's face...only this time Aamir may have done the most stupid thing ( as per many intellectuals out there)...that of expressing genuine concern of his wife,also the mother of his child,a responsible citizen of India,has made....It may have just been to "voice the reflection that most women in this country" must be feeling...
I know a lot of them personally who still worry about their daughters being in out there amongst the wolves....and their sons who may have a friend as a Muslim, where in they may not fear that the friend may be involved in terrorist activities,but will have the fear that " What if my son is caught eating "BEEF" with the muslim friend...his life will be in danger"....Today the fear wont be of a Muslim but a "Beef eating Muslim".
The reaction towards Aamir Khan is nothing but this Human Psycho-Metamorphism
The mounting pressure of inflation, the mounting pressures of competition, the mounting pressures of daily sustenance had brought about this Human Psycho-Metamorphism
As a matter of fact these every people who are criticising Aamir for his statement may have some time or the other made this statement maybe indirectly.."India main kuch rakha nahi..chalo Dubai Chaltay hain..Chalo Australia migrate Hotay hain..Chalo Canada migrate hotay hain". Its about situations..not about the country.Its about survival not about hating the country.
Everyone wants a better life...so why the hullaboo if someone wishes for it.
I really pity Aamir...his situation is similar to that of which Nawauddin would have faced in the film if Sunil Dutt decided to do it or the script writer decided to do it.
This hulla boo reminds me of a song rendered by Kishore Kumar in a film called "Roti" picturized on Rajesh Khanna based on a saying from the bible ..." Yaar hamari baat suno ..aisa ek insaan suno...jissnay paap na kiya hon..joh paapi na hon..." ...the song continued and had the wordings thus.." Iss paapan ko aaj milkar maarenge hum saarey...lekin joh paapi na hon woh pehla paththar maarein"...Our country has got a weakness....
Screw a celebrity and become a celebrity ( And Incidentally everyone is doing so)....We have more serious problems like hunger and unemployment...growing problems thats detrimental for the future generation...and here we are...haathi chodd doh...aur pooch ko pakkad kar baithon....every bloody social media which is supposed to be just a passtime is replete with statements of the so called superstar called Aamir Khan..
Aamir Khan may not have contributed to the economy of the country but his films certainly has.....Aamir Khan may not have contributed to the financial state of people but his films have contributed to the mental state of people....how then do u attribute the success of his films....You have made him the superstar...the great actor....so why dont we all just forget his dialogue as a general statement....one that every politician in India without an exception makes regularly.....easy to screw someone...difficult to ask ourselves....Isnt there ever a time where we have not done the same thing out of frustration sometime or the other....when will we all the stop "the holier than thou attitude"......finally only one thing....Newton discovered gravity and gave it the name gravitational force ...we all accepted it as there was no option or choice...unfortunately no one could discover god in the undebating theory or pthesis...so each one has his own belief...so lets wait till some Isaac Newton comes someday to show us that there is but "one god"...who has created this biggest blunder called "Humans" who have created another blunder called "Religion".....what I say here is of no consequence...no one will bother to say anything or feel bad...as I am a nobody...but if I had been a celebrity I would have been royally SCREWED....god bless you all....No offence meant to anyone but just carry on with your lives.
